(Challenge)

Roam is going against the standard set by other Socialization & Dating platforms by encouraging people to make new connections through shared, real-life experiences rather than mere digital communications. They are there to make going out & socialization easier, they are more than a chatting platform.

The problem is that people can't see that from the outside, they think of Swipes right away. Their target audience's perceptions of Socialization apps were tainted by the massive wave of swipe-focused platforms primarily focusing on the look of the users, rather than what they draw joy from.

(Solution)

BlueGreen needed to communicate their different approaches simply & quickly, at times in a single sentence. Our solution was to put our focus completely on how we are all about socialization and making connections, because, if the souls match, dating itself is almost inevitable.

Recognizing the importance of timely communication in today's fast-paced environment, we promptly initiated efforts to clarify and address our target audience's misconceptions regarding socialization platforms. We explicitly stated what we stand against and both told and showed the world what we hold most important: their experiences. We achieved that not only through our words but also by providing promotional items such as Journals and vinyls that reinforced our message.

(Impact)

Connecting with the group of millennials that think modern Socialization apps aren't "for them", and explicitly state our shared boredom with the other contemporary platforms.
